Dubai Criminal Court sentenced a Pakistani visitor to six months in jail for assaulting and robbing a woman off her jewellery.
TA, 25, was will be deported after serving his sentence.
On March 27, the victim, LR, was through the street at night when the visitor snatched her mobile and necklace and fled.
She claimed the items she lost were worth Dh1,700.
Upon arrest, the mobile was confiscated from the visitor.
Medical report confirms the victim suffered bruises on her body.
