DUBAI 1 September 2017: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, this morning welcomed a group of well-wishers at Zabeel Palace in Dubai, who came to greet him on the occasion.

Receiving the visitors alongside His Highness Sheikh Mohammed were H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and a number of Sheikhs, ministers, Emiratis, and members of Arab and Islamic communities in the UAE, said Wam.

The UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai also received greetings from Dubai Police Chiefs, led by Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Head of General Security, and including Major-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, and senior officers from the Defence Ministry.

Mohammed bin Rashid performs Eid Al Adha prayer at Zabeel Mosque

DUBAI: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, this morning performed the Eid Al Adha prayer at Zabeel Mosque.

Performing the prayer alongside the Vice President were H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, a number of Sheikhs and a group of worshipers.

Following the prayer, Imam Dr. Omar Al Khatib delivered an Eid sermon which focused on charity and giving, highlighting Allah’s reward for good deeds.

The Imam also reflected on the character of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who was known for his love of goodness, tolerance and benevolence, saying he was “An example of good and giving at home and abroad.”

The sermon concluded with a prayer on the souls of the late Sheikhs Zayed, Rashid, and Maktoum, as well as the martyrs of the nation; calling on Allah Almighty to protect the nation and its people, and grant success for the country’s leadership in their duty in serving the nation.

 

Mohamed bin Zayed receives well-wishers on Eid Al Adha

ABU DHABI: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, this morning received well-wishers who came to visit him at Al Mushrif Palace on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed exchanged congratulations on the occasion with a number of Sheikhs, senior officials in government and private departments, top military and police officials, Supreme Council for National Security officials, top statesmen, dignitaries, Emiratis and expatriate residents.

The well-wishers also extended greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, wishing him good health and wellness, and continuous success in leading the nation.

They also expressed their best wishes and congratulations to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, calling on Allah to continue blessing the UAE and its people with progress and prosperity.

Performing Eid Al Adha prayer along with Sheikh Mohamed were H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, H.H.Sheikh Surour bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, H.H. Lt. Imam Waseem Yousef delivered the Eid Al Adha sermon, where he prayed for the mothers, fathers, wives and families of the martyrs to be compensated with good rewards and bestowed with patience and peace. He also prayed for the triumph of the UAE and Arab alliance who came together to restore the rights of people, wishing the people of Yemen prosperity and stability.

Yousef also asked Allah Almighty to rest the soul of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in peace and protection, and success for President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE and its people.

Following the prayer, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed visited the mausoleum where the tomb of the founding father the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan rests where he offered a prayer on his soul.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, will perform the Eid Al Adha prayer on Friday at the Sheikh Rashid Mosque in Zabeel.

Following the prayer, His Highness will receive well-wishers at the Zabeel Grand Majlis, said Wam.

In Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, will perform Eid Al Adha prayers at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

Sheikh Mohamed will receive Eid well-wishers at the Al Mushrif Palace in Abu Dhabi.

Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers, Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi of Sharjah, Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi of Ajman, Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi of Fujairah, Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla of Umm Al Qaiwain, and H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi of Ras al-Khaimah, will perform the Eid prayers and receive well-wishers in their respective emirates.
