DUBAI 7 April 2018: The Director-General of Dubai Municipality, Dawood Al Hajiri, on Thursday made an inspection visit to see the work progress of the Mohammed bin Rashid Library Project and the stage reached by the concerned department and the contractor in charge of implementing it.
He emphasised the need to comply with the deadline specified for completion, according to the plans approved by the municipality when signing the technical and architectural contract.
Al Hajiri affirmed the importance of the project, which is considered a modern architectural landmark that will be added to the emirate’s unique and distinct features. The project, which is supervised by the municipality, is coming up on a total area of about 66,000 square metres in Jaddaf area on Dubai Creek.
He was accompanied by Marwan Al Mohammad, Director of the General Projects Department, and a number of officials, engineers, project owners and executing companies.
He reviewed the details of the project, the implementation method at the site, and the samples of the main materials used in the project, and also discussed some technical issue.
