ABU DHABI: The UAE Armed Forces has advised the public to expect noise around the Abu Dhabi corniche as helicopters, fighter jets, armored personnel carriers and fast attack boats prepare for the Union Fortress live military demonstration, coming March 2nd at 4:30 p.m.
Union Fortress is open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to ensure a good viewing point.
Organised by the UAE Armed Forces, the Union Fortress live military demonstration showcases the courage, dedication and professionalism of our nation’s highly trained soldiers as they engage in a sophisticated, sea-borne hostage rescue including personnel and expertise from all branches of the armed forces.
The event is a unique opportunity for all citizens and residents of the UAE to witness an action-packed military demonstration up close and from the soldier’s point of view, while celebrating the strength, honor and power of the UAE’s Armed Forces.
