48°C Weather Alert: High humidity and fog

ABU DHABI 24 August 2018: The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has advised drivers to take all the precautions because of the chance of fog formation and poor horizontal visibility.

Temperature was at a high of 48°C.

In its latest weather update, the NCM expected visibility to be less than 800 meters at times over some coastal and internal areas of the country, especially westwards until 8:30 am.

Friday: Hot and hazy during daytime. Some clouds will appear eastward. Light to moderate winds in general,
freshening at times causing blowing dust over some exposed areas. The relative humidity will increase during night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas with a chance of fog /mist formation especially westward. Sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.4
