RAS AL KHAIMAH: The Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) Police has come up with a unique way to deter speedsters and maniacs on the road.
In seemingly innocuous locations – and some not so innocuous ones – the police has set up decoy patrol cars. So, when an unsuspecting speedster notices the familiar red and white, he automatically slows down – probably saving his own, his passengers and lives and that of any other drivers on the roads.
Hats off to RAK Police for this novel campaign.
