Cocoona Centre for Aesthetic Transformation, which specializes in plastic, cosmetic, dental, orthopedic, weight loss, hair transplant, dermatology and dietary services, has announced a Patient Safety Assurance cover of up to a maximum of Dh50,000 for any post-operative complications of plastic surgery patients at its canter.
This is the first-of-its-kind cover announced by any Aesthetic and Cosmetic Centre, which reinforces the unmatched safety guidelines as also the strong credentials and track record of plastic surgeries and procedures at Cocoona. The new offer was launched at Cocoona’s branch in Al Wasl, Jumeirah on September 27.
The new patient safety assurance comes amidst a number of incidents where the patients suffer from a number of complications from plastic surgeries in centres globally, with some having long-term implications.
The Patient Safety Assurance will treat any unexpected complication from medical treatment at Cocoona for patients who had undergone treatment at Cocoona Centre. Valid for up to 10 days from the original discharge date of the procedure, the assurance covers emergency medical expense up to Dh50,000 for any additional treatment expenses and will in no circumstance reimbursed in cash or kind.
The assurance does not cover complications related to pre-existing medical conditions or anything that is not related to the procedure performed at Cocoona or due to patient’s negligence or error. It also is not a replacement for medical and/or life insurance policy’s that everyone should carry to safe guard their future.
