Covid Update: 1,992 cases, 2,169 recover, 7 deaths

ABU DHABI 15 March 2021: The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) conducted 232,901 additional Covid-19 tests, and announced 1,992 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 426,397.

‏MoHAP also announced 7 deaths due to complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 1,395.

‏The ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wished patients a speedy and full recovery. It called on all members of the society to cooperate with health authorities, adhere to the instructions and physical distance to ensure the health and safety of all.

‏MoHAP also noted that an additional 2,169 individuals had fully recovered from Covid-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 405,647.

The total number of vaccine doses provided stands at 6,540,912 with a rate of vaccine distribution of 66.13 doses per 100 people.
