Details of special flights from Abu Dhabi, Dubai

ABU DHABI 26 April 2020: Both Etihad Airways and Emirates  have announced special passenger flights from Abu Dhabi and Dubai respectively to several destinations worldwide.

The special schedule of flights gives foreign nationals in the UAE the opportunity to travel back to their country. Return flights are also repatriating Emiratis back to UAE.

Etihad special flights from Abu Dhabi will be available for booking through etihad.com, the mobile app, by calling the Etihad Airways Contact Centre on +971 600 555 666 (UAE), or through a local or online travel agency. UAE nationals wishing to return back to the UAE should contact their local UAE embassy or consulate, it said.

  • Amsterdam: 27, 29 April and 2, 6, 9, 13 May
  • Barcelona: 30 April and 7, 10, 14 May
  • Brussels: 26 April and 1, 3, 8, 10, 15 May
  • Frankfurt: 3, 10 May
  • Jakarta: 30 April and 7, 14 May
  • Kuala Lumpur: 2, 9 May
  • London Heathrow: 29, 30 April and 2, 6, 9, 13 May
  • Manila: 28, 30 April and 1, 5, 7, 8, 12, 14, 15 May
  • Melbourne: 28 April and 1, 5, 8, 12, 15 May
  • Seoul Incheon: 28, 30 April and 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14 May
  • Singapore: 28 April and 5, 12 May
  • Tokyo Narita: 27 April
  • Zurich: 26 April and 1, 3, 8, 10, 15 May

 Emirates flights for week ahead

DUBAI: Emirates plans to operate passenger services to Frankfurt, Jakarta, Johannesburg, Lagos, London Heathrow, Madrid, Manila, and Tunis, for those wishing to return home.

Emirates schedule of special flights

  • Frankfurt will be on 27th, 29th April
  • Jakarta 26th April
  • Lagos 26th April
  • London Heathrow 26th, 28th, 30th April
  • Madrid 29th April
  • Manila 28th, 30th April
  • Tunis 30th April

Those who wish to travel to Johannesburg, Lagos, and Tunis must contact the respective embassy or consulate for these countries in the UAE. For all other flights, passengers can book directly on emirates website (select the “one-way” option when booking), or via their travel agent.

Only citizens of the destination countries, and those who meet the entry requirements of the destination will be allowed to board. Customers will be required to follow all health and safety measures required by the UAE authorities and the country of destination.

All Emirates aircraft will go through enhanced cleaning and disinfection processes in Dubai, after each journey.
