DUBAI 6 March 2019: A staff member of Jumeirah College, who is suspected to have committed suicide in school, was an Indian male.
The police were called in immediately after the tragic incident was discovered.
Students were sent home.
Details are lean at this time and it is not known what led the unfortunate staff member to have taken the final step.
The incident has been confirmed by the Gems Group which runs the school, but it only said that a member of the staff “sadly passed away”. The police statement refers to a suspected suicide.
There appears to be no hint of foul play.
