ABU DHABI, 13th May, 2022: The funeral prayer for the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan was performed today after Maghrib prayer (Sunset prayer).
The funeral prayer in absentia will be conducted in all mosques across the country, said Wam.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler of Abu Dhabi, today performed the funeral prayer for late His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, at the Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed the First Mosque in Abu Dhabi.
Performing the prayer as well were Their Highnesses the Sheikhs of the Al Nahyan family. Everyone turned to the Almighty God to bless the late Sheikh Khalifa with His mercy and satisfaction and dwell him in His vast paradise in recognition of a noble march of giving he led to serve his people, nation and humanitarian work all over the world.
They all prayed to Allah Almighty to inspire everyone with patience and solace on the passing of the late UAE leader.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and Their Highnesses accompanied the body of the late Sheikh Khalifa to his final resting place at Al Bateen Cemetery in Abu Dhabi.
Saudi King directs to perform funeral prayer at Grand Holy Mosque
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud today directed to perform the funeral prayer in absentia for late His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, after Isha prayer today, Friday, at the Grand Holy Mosque and the Prophet’s Holy Mosque.
