Houthi missile falls metres from Saudi hospital

JAZAN, Saudi Arabia 19 December 2020: One of the three military projectiles launched by the Iranian-backed Al Houthi militia from inside Yemen, landed just 197 metres away from a Saudi hospital.

The missiles were fired towards Al Harth governorate, said the media spokesman for Civil Defense Directorate in Saudi Jazan region, Colonel Mohammed bin Yahiya Al-Ghamdi.

He said that one of the three military projectiles fell into an open area at a distance of 197 meters away from Al-Harth General Hospital, while the other two projectiles fell into another open area with no casualties or damages, according to the Saudi Press Agency and Wam.

Procedures adopted in such cases were immediately implemented, Colonel Al-Ghamdi said.
