DUBAI 27 May 2018: Ever wondered how many billionaires does the blingy-glitzy city of Dubai boast?
We all know that it is home to some of the modern-day wonders of the world and a fast-emerging playground of the rich and famous.
But really, how rich are the people. is there any measure of the wealth in Dubai?
Well, according to a Government of Dubai Media Office tweet, Dubai is ranked the 8th city globally in terms of the number of billionaires it hosts.
We assume it is US dollar billionaires, we’re talking about.
Citing latest stats for 2018, it said Dubai has 40 billionaires, while the UAE has been ranked the 9th country globally, hosting 62 billionaires.
