More inflows of FMCG goods from Singapore expected

DUBAI 8 July 2017: Samuel Tan, Singapore’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, visited the Al Maya Group’s Supermarket at Muraqabat, Deira in Dubai on and appreciated the group’s role in promoting Singapore’s food products in the UAE.

Al Maya Group Director, Kamal Vachani, informed the ambassador about the variety of products available from Singapore at the Al Maya Supermarkets.

Al Maya Group is keen to expand its products portfolio from Singapore, Kamal Vachani told the ambassador. Al Maya Group imports a large number of FMCG products, Vachani said adding he plans to increase the imports.

Al Maya Group, the UAE-based business conglomerate, has more than 50 supermarkets in the GCC countries in addition to other businesses.
