DUBAI 8 July 2017: First lady of Poland ignores President Trump’s outstretched hand in favor of his wife
Yet again the American president Donald Trump’s handshake is the subject of attention. This time it is the lack thereof that has captured the internet’s gaze. Poland’s First Lady, Agata Kornhauser-Duda appears to bypass the extended hand of the american president in favor of his wife. The awkward encounter occurs during his visit to Warsaw, where President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump were standing on stage with Polish President Andrzej Duda, and his wife Agata Kornhauser-Duda. As the group were leaving the stage Trump and Andrzej Duda shake hands and Trump then reaches out to Agata Kornhauser-Duda, who instantly ignores the gesture instead, choosing to shake the hand of First Lady and then turning back to Donald Trump.
