A Jordanian man used a big kitchen knife to cut his mother’s head off following an argument at their home in Jordan.
Newspapers said police were searching for the son who fled his home in the capital Amman after committing the crime.
His mother had told neighbours that she was afraid of the way her son spoke to her just a few hours before he murdered her, they said.
