A Saudi man divorced his Indonesian wife just months after he married her, saying he was cheated by her appearance.
The unnamed man said he flew to Indonesia to marry that woman after seeing a picture given to him by a female friend.
A few weeks after marriage, she told him that she had an operation to lose weight and that he expressed understanding, according to the Saudi magazine ‘Sayyidati’.
“He later was shocked when he found an old picture of her…she claimed that the picture was for a friend of hers but later told him that it was her picture before she had a plastic surgery,” the report said.
“He got angry and decided to divorce her…he also gave her back all the presents she had given him and returned to Saudi Arabia.”
