DUBAI 20 March 2018: Dubai’s Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) has come out with a new design car number plate and is asking all car owners to upgrade to the new look.
“Are you an owner of registered license plates? You can now switch to the new designed license plates at any of our trusted centers,” RTA said in a tweet.
On its website, it urged car owners to “be the first to upgrade your look”.
“RTA would like all car owners with owned registered number plates from A to Z to upgrade to the new plate design. And from May 2018, all car owners with not owned A, B and C number plates are requested to upgrade to the new plate design,” it said.
The new number plates do not come without a cost though.
