‘Snapchat’ drug dealer held in Saudi

He also stages 'illegal' parties at home

Saudi police arrested a man accused of selling drugs through Snapchat service in the Gulf kingdom, a newspaper reported on Wednesday.

Police raided the dealer’s house in the capital Riyadh and seized a large quantity of drugs, liquor and other banned items, Ajel Arabic language daily said.

“The man was also accused of staging illegal booze parties at his home involving men and women,” the report said.

It quoted an Interior Ministry statement as saying counter-narcotics squads have arrested 1,461 drug and liquor dealers in the country over the past six months.
