Covid Update: 2,959 cases, 1,901 recover, 14 deaths

ABU DHABI 7 March 2021: ‏The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) conducted 242,159 additional Covid-19 tests, and announced 2,959 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 408,236.

‏MoHAP also announced 14 deaths due to complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 1,310.

‏The ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wished Covid-19 patients a speedy and full recovery. It called on all members of the society to cooperate with health authorities, adhere to the instructions and physical distance to ensure the health and safety of all.

‏MoHAP also noted that an additional 1,901 individuals had fully recovered from Covid-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 391,205.

The total number of vaccine doses provided stands at 6,265,860 with a rate of vaccine distribution of 63.35 doses per 100 people.
