‘Touching’ pictures during Haj in Makkah

Reflect goodness and benevolence

Saudi newspapers have published pictures which they describe as ‘touching’, saying they reflected goodness and benevolence during Haj (pilgrimage) in Makkah.

One picture carried by Sada newspaper showed a policeman giving water to a cat which was apparently ill on a scorching summer day during the Haj rituals, attended by nearly two million Moslems.

Another showed a soldier and a medic examining a little pilgrim while a third picture showed a pilgrim helping another climb up a rock while a fourth picture showed a Saudi guard giving water to an elderly pilgrim.
