UAE, KSA condemn New York terrorist attack

ABU DHABI 13 December 2017: The UAE on Tuesday, condemned the terrorist attack that targeted the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan, New York, on Monday.

In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said that the UAE condemns this cowardly act of terrorism, reiterating its firm stance that rejects various forms of violence and terrorism that target all regardless of their religion and race, and under whatever sources and pretexts.

It also affirmed the UAE’s full solidarity with the US administration in countering violence and terrorism, calling on the international community to unite in the face of this dangerous scourge that threatens the security and stability of the countries of the world.

Saudi Arabia denounces bombing

RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has condemned the bombing at a New York commuter hub. In a statement, an official source at the Saudi Foreign Ministry affirmed the Kingdom’s solid position against terrorism and extremism in all its forms and manifestations.

Warned Trump

Meanwhile, BBC said that the man who faces terror charges had posted a warning to President Donald trump just before the attack. “Trump you failed to protect your nation,” it read. The post by 27-year-old Bangladeshi immigrant Akayed Ullah was revealed in charges filed by federal prosecutors on Tuesday. He wounded himself and three others in Monday morning’s attack.
