What happens if you don’t have a shower for 2 days!

Could have a devastating effect on health

Many people would turn their noses up at the suggestion of not showering every day, but it¹s now been revealed what can happen to your body if you skip washing for two days, according to a UK newspaper.

Being clean is something society deems necessary, and not having one on a daily basis is seen by some as a sin, the Daily Express said in a health report.

“Skipping a bath or shower for one day might be something people probably only do under extreme circumstances,” it said.

“But what happens when you skip washing for two days? It’s now been suggested that having a two day break from your wash routine could have a devastating effect on your health and body.”

Citing a medical report, it said, “People are the proud owners of roughly 1,000 types of bacteria on their bodies and 40 types of fungus. While this might not sound too nice, bacteria and fungus are actually responsible in helping us stay clean….

Good bacteria helps keep the bad bacteria off our bodies. But the good bacteria needs help in the form of soaps and showers. So when you skip a shower, you’re still getting dirty even if you’re not sweating.”

The report showed that touching things over the course of the day could spread bad bacteria everywhere.

“You can’t contain the bad bacteria if you don’t shower, and if they find their way to your eyes, nose, or mouth, you can get sick. The oily and salty nature of people’s skin can also cause irritation and blemishes if not regularly cleaned, the report said.

“When it comes to body odour, people might believe it comes from sweat, but it’s actually caused by the gasses given off by bacteria consuming body protein and fatty acids. This can lead to as many as 30 bad smells. It’s not really a health issue until it gets too severe, but socially it probably isn’t acceptable.”

It quoted dermatologists as suggesting that if people have to skip a shower, then armpits, the groin and the face areas should be treated in another way as they’re breeding grounds for bacteria.
