Sheep was imported for Eid Al Adha from Romania
A Jordanian woman got a pleasant surprise when she found an expensive diamond ring inside the belly of a sheep she bought to sacrifice for Eid Al Adha in Jordan.
The woman told local newspapers that she bought the sheep from the market and that she was cleaning its internal organs when she stumbled across the ring.
She said the ring is made of gold and that it is ornamented with diamond, adding that jewelers told her it is an expensive item.
Newspapers in the capital Amman said the sheep was among a livestock shipment imported for Eid Al Adha from Romania and that the ring might have been swallowed by the sheep while pasturing.
