Works on Dh51 million Fujairah cultural centre completed

Ministry of Infrastructure Development concludes project

DUBAI 6 June 2017: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development has concluded the implementation of a cultural centre project in Fujairah, at a total cost of Dh51 million, with the establishment being delivered to the beneficiary authority sometime next week.

Mariam Abdul Kareem, Head of the Implementation Department at the Ministry of Infrastructure Development, said that the projects being implemented by the ministry, including the cultural centre project, are characterised by modern architecture while considering sustainability standards and reducing energy consumption.

She stated that the ministry will achieve the construction and maintenance of government establishments and all its projects according to international standards, green building regulations and sustainability requirements, to reduce their environmental impact. This comes in line with the government’s vision to make the UAE among the world’s best countries by 2021, by providing high-quality services, she concluded.
