A 7-year-old Moroccan girl died after she was bitten by a scorpion while she was playing near her home in the North African Arab country.
Newspapers said her family rushed the girl to a nearby hospital after she was bitten in the leg but that she died later.
Police are investigating the incident, which occurred in West Morocco, they said.
