DUBAI 7 June 2017: The snow-less world of the Arabian desert has produced a hopeful who aims for a medal at one of the future Olympics – in ice skating, no less.
And, the hopeful Olympian – Zahra Lari – received helpful advice and tips from no less than the superstar of skaters – Michelle Kwan.
Michelle, a two-time Olympic medallist, five-time World champion and nine-time U.S. champion, was in the UAE and visited the Zayed Sports City Ice Rink to skate with Emirati Olympic hopeful Zahra Lari.
The venue is the only skating rink in the city and is open to the public year-round.
