DUBAI 12 March 2021: To debunk the perception that street hailing is faster than e-hailing, Hala (Dubai Taxi) has set up a campaign that gives riders the chance to win Dh3,000 credit if a Hala captain takes longer than 3 minutes to reach the pick-up location.

The ‘3 minute arrival time’ campaign aims to spread awareness of Hala Captains’ efficiency – utilising technology to be able to accurately predict areas of high demand, and automatically direct Captains to these areas, Hala is confident in their ability to reach anyone in Dubai within 3 minutes.

If a customer waits for more than 3 minutes for the taxi to arrive, they automatically enter a raffle draw to win Dh3,000 in Careem credit. One winner is announced on social media (Instagram @hala_ride) every three days.

With more Hala taxis available than ever, Hala is confident in the effectiveness and accuracy of their operations, and that they can reach customers swiftly. Taxis are dispatched and assigned to riders based on proximity and supply to ensure the taxis get to the riders in the shortest amount of time safely.
