Covid Update: Recoveries get close to 400,000

ABU DHABI 12 March 2021: The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) conducted 225,489 additional Covid-19 tests over the past 24 hours, using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, and announced 2,087 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 419,996.

‏ MoHAP also announced 16 deaths due to Covid-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 1,369.

‏ The ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wished patients a speedy and full recovery. It called on all members of the society to cooperate with health authorities, adhere to the instructions and physical distance to ensure the health and safety of all.

‏MoHAP also noted that an additional 1,677 individuals had fully recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 399,803.

The total number of vaccine doses provided stands at 6,407,350 with a rate of vaccine distribution of 64.78 doses per 100 people.
