Sentenced to lashing within 30 minutes
A Saudi judge issued what is believed to be one of the quickest court sentences in history when he ordered a man lashed 300 times after he was caught molesting a female pilgrim at the current Haj season in the Gulf Kingdom.
Newspapers said the judge at the court in Makkah heard the accusations against the man and issued his sentence within 30 minutes.
He also ordered the man deported from Saudi Arabia and sentenced three other Africans, including a woman, to two months in prison and ordered them lashed 200 times after they were caught stealing pilgrims.
