A Saudi man and his 10-year-old son who had been missing for five days have been found by a team of 30 volunteers in the desert.
‘Sada’ Arabic language newspaper said the father and his son were found “exhausted” after they lost their way as they were heading for dinner at a restaurant outside their village near the capital Riyadh.
“The volunteers found them five days after they vanished…they were exhausted because of the heat,” the paper said.
The two went out around noon on Saturday but never returned home, it said, adding that they had to pass near a desert area on the way to the restaurant.
