Saudi hospital crams bodies together after morgue fault

13 morgue chambers suffered from power failure

A Saudi government hospital was forced to cram bodies together in its morgue after some of its parts suffered from a power fault and more bodies were received from a deadly road accident, a newspaper reported on Monday.

Afif Hospital in Central Saudi Arabia had to stuff two bodies in each chamber of the morgue after 13 of them suffered power failure and bodies of four people killed in a road crash were brought in, Ajel said.

“The hospital management said it had no choice but to put two bodies together in some morgue chambers because of the fault,” the report said.
