Covid reporting centre opens for AD labour zones

By DG Staff

ABU DHABI 18 April 2020: The Abu Dhabi Crisis and Disaster Committee has announced a designated operations centre to receive reports and calls about suspected cases of Covid-19 in workers’ accommodation cities and industrial zones in Abu Dhabi.

The new centre will help to provide medical care at the earliest opportunity, to help contain the spread of the virus.

All suspected cases should be reported by calling the centre on 909, in order to provide rapid medical care, and ensure the safety of those living in workers’ accommodation, said Wam.

The procedure comes as a part of a series of preventative measures being taken by authorities in Abu Dhabi to prioritise the health and safety of society, and to support ongoing efforts to confront the spread of the virus.
