Her father calls for the rapist’s execution
A five-year-old Egyptian girl was raped by a man inside a bathroom at a mosque in the most populous Arab country and her father called for the execution of the rapist.
The girl went on a private Egyptian TV channel to narrate her ordeal, saying the man grabbed her near the mosque in East Egypt and pushed her inside the toilet.
“He said he would kill me if I scream…he then shut the door and attacked me,” the girl said, according to Egyptian newspapers.
They quoted her father as saying he had the chance to kill the rapist but preferred to report him to the police. “I call on the court to give justice to my daughter and execute that man who attacked her without mercy,” the father said.
