Hi-tech buses deployed for Dubai students this term

دبي في 21 أغسطس/ وام/ أعلنت “مؤسسة تاكسي دبي” التابعة لهيئة الطرق والمواصلات استعدادها لاستقبال العام الدراسي الجديد 2023- 2024، من خلال جاهزية قطاع النقل المدرسي لتقديم خدمات نقل آمنة ومريحة لما يقارب من 25,000 طالب طالبة في جميع مناطق إمارة دبي عبر توفير حافلات مزودة بأفضل التقنيات المتطورة.
وأكدت المؤسسة بهذه المناسبة حرصها على توفير منظومة متكاملة من الأنظمة التقنية الحديثة في أسطولها المدرسي وفقاً لأفضل معايير الجودة والسلامة المتبعة محلياً وعالمياً، وبما يعزز مستوى الأمان والراحة للطلاب خلال تنقلاتهم بالحافلات من وإلى المدرسة.
وقال عمار راشد البريكي، مدير إدارة تشغيل الأسطول في المؤسسة: “إن توظيف مؤسسة تاكسي دبي خبراتها وإمكانياتها الواسعة بالإضافة إلى استثمار التقنيات المتطورة في الحافلات المدرسية يجسد توجهاتنا الاستراتيجية لتعزيز مستوى الثقة والراحة لأولياء الأمور والمجتمع بأسره عبر توفير بيئة مثالية لنقل الطلاب بأمان خلال العام الدراسي”.
ونوه إلى التزام المؤسسة المستمر بتحقيق تطور مستدام في أسطول الحافلات وخدمات النقل المدرسي، وذلك بهدف المساهمة في تحقيق أهداف القيادة الرشيدة بإحداث نقلة نوعية في قطاع النقل المدرسي والارتقاء بمستوى الخدمات المقدمة.
وأوضح البريكي أن الأسطول المدرسي لمؤسسة تاكسي دبي يتمتع بمجموعة من المزايا الذكية، مثل كاميرات المراقبة ونظام التأكد من خلو الحافلة من الطلاب بعد كل رحلة مدرسية، ونظام الاستشعار عن حركة الطلاب أثناء سير الحافلات، وميزة الإشعار بالطوارئ للتواصل الفوري مع مركز التحكم في حالات الطوارئ إلى جانب تميزه بنظام تتبع إلكتروني متقدم للحافلة والطالب باستخدام نظام تحديد الموقع العالم GPS ونظام تحديد الهوية باستخدام موجات الراديو “RFID ” ما يعزز تنظيم عملية الصعود والنزول للطلاب علاوة على توفر نظام للإطفاء الذاتي لحرائق المحرك.
DUBAI 29 August 2023: RTA’s Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) is rolling out advanced buses to serve about 25,000 students across Dubai.
DTC’s school buses are equipped with a variety of smart features, including surveillance cameras, a system to ensure that no student is left behind at the end of each journey, a system to detect student movement in transit, and an emergency alert system for making immediate contact with the emergency management centre.
Buses are also outfitted with advanced electronic tracking system using GPS technology and a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system to streamline the boarding and disembarkation of students as well as an automatic fire-suppression system for engines.
“Using DTC’s extensive experience and resources, combined with investments in advanced technologies in school buses, highlights our strategic drive to boost the confidence of parents and the entire community while providing a safe and secure transportation environment for students during the school year.” Such a drive, is aligned with the highest safety and monitoring standards observed in Dubai, will also promote the confidence of the Emirates Schools Establishment towards building a long-term partnership in delivering school transport services,” said Ammar Rashid Al Braiki, Director of Fleet Operation, DTC.
“DTC is eager to promote safe and responsible driving skills among school bus drivers and attendants by engaging them in specialized high-level training courses. DTC also conducts drills on the handling of emergency cases and First Aid to ensure that the team is ready and able to deal with any emergencies that may arise during the school transport process,” said Al Braiki.
