Covid-19: Dubai postpones Gov Games

DUBAI 2 March 2020: The Government of Dubai Media Office yesterday announced that the 2020 Gov Games have been postponed.

“Gov Games 2020 has been postponed in line with local and international measures being taken to ensure the health and safety of the public,” said a tweet yesterday.⁣

The postponement is as a safety measure to contain the spread of Covid-19.

The Gov Games are the second to be affected. Earlier, the UAE Tour was cancelled when two cyclists were found to be infected with Covid-19.
